XML-RPC with Windows Live Writer vs. Wordpress FCKeditor

It has its limitations, but it is actually a pretty good web-based rich text editor. However, there is another choice. If you want to write using a desktop client, turn on XML-RPC in your Wordpress writing settings and connect to your blog with Windows Live Writer – it’s a great way to publish and edit posts and pages!
